Detailed itinerary
Day 01 Cusco – Tambomachay – Huchuy Qosqo

At 6:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel, then we will drive on our bus to the archaeological complex of Tambomachay, where we will begin our trek. During our tour we will be able to observe beautiful natural landscapes, some Andean communities and the Laguna de Qoricocha (golden lagoon). Then we will arrive to the community of Pumamarca, from here we will be able to appreciate the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will continue our walk in descending way until arriving at Leon Punku (lion gate) in this place we will be able to appreciate mysterious rock formations and finally we will arrive at the archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo, in this place we will spend the night in our camp.

Day 02: Huchuy Qosqo – Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes)

After our breakfast, we will have our tour guided by the important points of the archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo, then we will have free time to be able to photograph the beautiful panorama where we are and explore the place on our own. Then continue with the descent that lasts approximately 2 hours to Lamay town, where we will have lunch and after a short rest we will travel by bus to the train station of the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will board our train to Machu Picchu village (train 16:36 or 19:00 hours) for an average of one and a half hours. When arriving to the town of Aguas Calientes we will go to the hotel to rest, the village offers all the basic necessities, such as restaurants, places to buy, ATMs, located at the foot of Machu Picchu mountain.

Day 03: Machu Picchu – Cusco

Breakfast in the morning, then we will go to the bus stop that will take us up in about 25 minutes to the main gate of one of the most recommended tourist destinations in the last years by tripadvisor and lonely planet “Machupicchu” Wonderful place to spend an excellent holiday, where we will have unforgettable walk for 2 hours with our guide, touring the most important points of the Inca city, then we will have free time to continue admiring on its own to this amazing place and to do meditations, and That this place is considered one of the energy centers and finally we will descend to Machu Picchu village at the agreed time, lunch (optional), in the afternoon, we will board our train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon your arrival at the ollanta station we will be waiting to take you back to Cusco – hotel.
